ideaXPOSE Platform Terms and Conditions

I. Definitions
Whenever the following terms are used in these Terms and Conditions, they shall be understood as follows:
- Administrator – the ideaXPOSE project team, which is the owner and operator of the ideaXPOSE platform. Contact: [contact@ideaxpose.com](mailto:contact@ideaxpose.com) (hereinafter: 'Administrator').
- Platform – the website available at [https://www.ideaxpose.com/](https://www.ideaxpose.com/), enabling the use of services provided electronically by the Administrator.
- User – a natural person with full legal capacity, a legal person or an organizational unit without legal personality who uses the services provided by the Administrator via the Platform.
- Creator – a User who has created and manages a project on the Platform.
- Mentor/Investor – a User with special privileges who provides advisory, consulting or financial services within the Platform.
- AI Agent – a system based on an artificial intelligence model (LLM) that interacts with the User, asks questions and helps develop strategies.
- Starter Pack – a set of materials generated for the User as a result of interaction with the AI Agent, containing a vision, action plan and other materials helpful in implementing the idea.
- Account – an individual User profile within the Platform, enabling the use of its functionality.
- Project – a set of information and materials relating to a specific undertaking or initiative, created by the User on the Platform.
- Funding Campaign – a set of activities aimed at raising funds for the implementation of the Project through external crowdfunding services.
- Services – functionalities made available to Users by the Administrator via the Platform.
- Terms and Conditions – this document setting out the rules for using the Platform.
II. General provisions
These Terms and Conditions define the conditions of use of the Platform, the rights and obligations of Users and the Administrator, as well as the rules for the protection of personal data.
Use of the Platform is tantamount to acceptance of the provisions of the Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions, you may not use the Platform.
The Administrator provides the following services through the Platform:
- the ability to register and maintain an Account
- an interactive online CV generator
- interaction with an AI Agent who asks questions and explores the details of an idea
- generation of a Starter Pack based on the information provided
- tools for monitoring project progress
- the ability to use the services of Mentors
- creating and managing Projects
- organizing Funding Campaigns through integration with external services (e.g., Patronite)
The purpose of the Platform is to enable people with no experience in technology projects to move from an idea to a working solution by using an agent (AI + experts), generating start-up materials and obtaining crowdfunding.
III. Terms of use of the Platform
Use of the Platform requires the following technical requirements to be met:
- device with internet access
- web browser supporting JavaScript and CSS3
- active email account
- cookies enabled
The Administrator does not guarantee the proper functioning of the Platform on all devices and in all hardware and system configurations.
It is prohibited to use the Platform in a manner contrary to the law, good manners, the provisions of the Terms and Conditions, or in a manner that violates the rights of third parties.
It is prohibited for the User to provide content that is unlawful, in particular content that infringes the rights of third parties, incites hatred, contains harmful software or promotes criminal activities.
IV. Registration and maintenance of the Account
Registration of an Account is required to use the full functionality of the Platform.
In order to register an Account, you must:
- fill in the registration form, providing your email address and password
- accept the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy
- confirm your registration by clicking on the activation link sent to the email address you provided
The Platform offers the following types of Accounts:
- User Account – basic access to the Platform's functionality
- Creator Account – permissions to create and manage projects
- Administrator Account – full access to all Platform features
The User is required to provide true information during registration, update their information if it changes, and keep their password confidential.
The Administrator reserves the right to verify the data, refuse to create an Account if false data is provided, and block or delete the Account in the event of a violation of the Terms and Conditions.
V. Process of using the Platform
The basic process of using the Platform includes the following steps:
- Logging into the Platform
- Submitting an idea
- Session with an AI Agent (set of questions offered for the selected package)
- Generating a Starter Pack
- Creating a Project based on the Starter Pack
- Possibility to organize a Funding Campaign through external services
- Access to the progress dashboard
- Feedback and iterations
- ideaXPOSE Academy - knowledge zone
The platform uses advanced AI mechanisms based on the LLM model with its own question drilling rules to help develop and refine the idea.
The generated Starter Pack contains a project vision, an action plan, and materials to help implement the idea.
VI. Funding Campaigns
The Project Creator may organize a Funding Campaign to raise funds for the implementation of the Project.
The Platform does not directly collect money, but only redirects to external crowdfunding services (e.g. Patronite).
As part of the Funding Campaign, the Project Creator specifies:
- financial goal
- duration of the Campaign
- how the funds will be used
- optional: benefits for Supporters in exchange for their support
The Administrator does not charge any commission on the funds raised. Fees and commissions are charged in accordance with the terms and conditions of external crowdfunding services.
The Project Creator is solely responsible for:
- fulfilling the promises made to Supporters
- correct tax settlement of the funds raised
- compliance of the benefits offered with the law
- compliance with the terms and conditions of external crowdfunding services
The Administrator is not responsible for:
- fulfilling the Project Creator's obligations towards Supporters
- tax settlements related to the funds raised
- the content and implementation of the financing campaign
VII. User rights and obligations
The User has the right to:
- use the Platform's functionality in accordance with the Terms and Conditions
- resign from using the Platform at any time
- receive technical assistance related to the functioning of the Platform
- submit complaints regarding the operation of the Platform
The User is obliged to:
- comply with the provisions of the Terms and Conditions
- use the Platform in a manner consistent with the law and good manners
- not take any action aimed at disrupting the operation of the Platform
- not make their Account available to third parties
- not enter any illegal content on the Platform
The User bears full responsibility for the content entered into the Platform, the manner of use of the Starter Pack, actions taken in connection with the implementation of their idea, and any violation of the rights of third parties related to the use of the Platform.
VIII. Rights and obligations of the Administrator
The Administrator is obliged to:
- ensure the availability of the Platform, subject to technical interruptions
- ensure the security of data processed on the Platform
- provide technical assistance to Users
- consider complaints from Users
The Administrator has the right to:
- temporarily restrict the availability of the Platform in order to carry out technical work
- modify the functionality of the Platform
- make changes to the Terms and Conditions
- remove content that violates the Terms and Conditions or the law
- block or delete a User Account in the event of a violation of the Terms and Conditions
The Administrator shall not be liable for:
- interruptions in the operation of the Platform caused by force majeure or the actions of third parties
- damages resulting from the improper use of the Platform by the User
- content entered by Users
- the consequences of business decisions made by the User based on materials obtained through the Platform
- the implementation of Projects or Financing Campaigns by Users
IX. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights to the Platform, including source code, graphics, logos, layout, design, algorithms, and software, are vested in the Administrator or its licensors.
The User retains full intellectual property rights to the content they enter into the Platform, including business ideas and concepts.
By entering content on the Platform, the User grants the Administrator a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content to the extent necessary to provide services on the Platform and to analyze and improve the quality of services.
The Administrator grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Starter Pack generated through the Platform solely for their own use in connection with the implementation of the described idea.
X. Responsibility
The Administrator shall make every effort to ensure the proper functioning of the Platform, but does not guarantee that:
- The Platform will function without interruptions or errors
- The AI Agent will answer all User questions or correctly interpret all information
- The Starter Pack will contain all the necessary elements to implement the User's idea
- the implementation of the idea in accordance with the Starter Pack will bring market success
The Administrator shall not be liable for any damage resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform, decisions made on the basis of information obtained through the Platform, the User's failure to comply with technical requirements, or loss of data caused by equipment or system failure or other circumstances beyond the Administrator's control.
The Administrator's liability towards the User is limited to damages caused by intentional fault.
XI. Complaints
The User has the right to file a complaint regarding the operation of the Platform.
The complaint should include the User's details, a description of the subject of the complaint, the circumstances justifying the complaint, and the User's expectations towards the Administrator.

The Administrator shall consider the complaint within 14 days of its receipt. If the consideration of the complaint requires additional information, the Administrator may extend the deadline for considering the complaint by the time necessary to obtain such information.
XII. Termination of the agreement
The agreement for the provision of services concluded between the User and the Administrator may be terminated by the User by deleting the Account or by the Administrator in the event of a breach of the provisions of the Terms and Conditions by the User.
The Administrator may terminate the agreement with the User with immediate effect in the event of providing false data, violating the rights of third parties, introducing illegal content or taking actions that violate the security of the Platform.
In the event of termination of the agreement, the User's Account will be deleted, the data will be stored for the period specified in the Privacy Policy, and the User will retain the rights to the generated Starter Pack in accordance with the provisions on intellectual property.
XIII. Final provisions
The Administrator reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions for important reasons, in particular changes in the law, changes in the functionality of the Platform, the introduction of new services or technological changes.
The Administrator shall inform Users of any amendments to the Terms and Conditions by posting information on the Platform and sending a message to the User's e-mail address.
The amended Terms and Conditions shall enter into force 14 days after the Users have been notified of the changes. Use of the Platform after the changes have entered into force shall constitute acceptance of the changes.
In matters not covered by the Terms and Conditions, the provisions of Polish law shall apply, in particular the Civil Code, the Act on the provision of electronic services and the provisions on the protection of personal data.
The Terms and Conditions shall enter into force on May 12, 2025.
Information on the processing of personal data (GDPR)
I. Personal data controller
The personal data controller is ideaXPOSE, contact: [contact@ideaxpose.com].
II. Categories of personal data
We process the following categories of personal data:
- Identification data (e-mail address)
- Data relating to projects entered while using the Platform
- Technical data (IP address, cookies, device data)
III. Purposes and legal basis for processing
The data is processed for the following purposes:
- Registration and maintenance of an account on the Platform – basis: necessary for the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR)
- Provision of services by the Platform – basis: necessary for the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR)
- Improving the quality of services – basis: legitimate interest of the Administrator (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR)
- Handling complaints – basis: necessary for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR)
- Marketing activities – basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR)
In accordance with the guidelines of the European Data Protection Board, data processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (necessity for the performance of a contract) is only possible if the processing is objectively necessary for the performance of the contract.
IV. Data retention period
- User account data – 2 years from the last login
- Project data – for the duration of the project and 2 years after its completion
- Data processed on the basis of consent – until its withdrawal
- Data processed for the purposes of pursuing claims – for the period of their limitation
V. Rights of data subjects
You have the right to:
- Access to personal data (Article 15 of the GDPR) – the right to obtain information on whether we process your data and to receive information on the purposes, categories, recipients, storage period and source of the data
- Rectification of data (Article 16 of the GDPR) – the right to correct inaccurate data and complete incomplete data
- Erasure of data (Article 17 of the GDPR) – "right to be forgotten"
- Restriction of processing (Article 18 of the GDPR)
- Data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR)
- Objection to processing (Article 21 of the GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent at any time (Article 7(3) of the GDPR)
- Lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office)
VI. Data recipients
The recipients of your personal data may be:
Entities processing data on our behalf:
- hosting service providers (AWS S3, Lambda)
- payment service providers (Stripe)
- marketing service providers (MailChimp, HubSpot)
Cooperating partners (mentors, accelerators) – only with the User's consent
Entities authorized by law
VII. Data security
We use the following security measures:
- SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission
- Data encryption at rest (AES-256)
- Regular system vulnerability scans
- Security incident response procedures
- Minimization of data collected
- Anonymization of test data
- Breach procedures with notification within a maximum of 72 hours
VIII. Transfer of data outside the EEA
The administrator does not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), unless it is necessary for the provision of services and the entity located in a third country ensures an adequate level of personal data protection in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR.
IX. Automated decision-making
The platform uses artificial intelligence mechanisms to interact with the user and generate materials, but does not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning data subjects or similarly significantly affects them.
